Systems are like the banks of a river… they hold firm so water can flow freely.
If they are designed with your project's unique needs in mind, they can be totally liberating and deeply supportive of both you, your clients, and the communities you serve.
The more you tend to the structure of your project's greatest gifts, the more impact you can make.
Let me help you make your project flow with simple, strategic, workable systems.

Hi, I’m Joody.
I have always been drawn to the liberated beauty of creative spaces and the communities that blossomed from them, but also love the certainty and predictability of more mathematical type spaces. I find highly organized structures very soothing- even though, I know, they can feel stifling if they aren't formed with a lot of intention.
These worlds felt separate and mutually exclusive to me-- until the day I took on the responsibility of production manager for activist theater, back in college. It gave me a way to nerd out on creating flowing organizational structures that supported inspired and dynamic spaces. Since then, I found innovative ways to support my own creative and awareness-cultivating pursuits and wanted to share that transformative magic with others. So, I began working with professional producers, organizers, artists, and educators to put my love of logistical nerdiness to good use.
It turned out every one of the people and organizations I've worked with had a distinct set of relationships, tendencies, and needs. From Project Manager for the Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics' to Development for Alchemy Community Therapy Center to Production Director for the AcroYoga DivinePlay Festival and the Rural Justice Summit, I learned A LOT about a variety of systemic approaches to creating and sustaining the business of offering healing, beauty, and mindfulness to the masses. I've also designed, developed and facilitated several innovative nature-connection and wellness events.
Now, operational solutions, strategy, and systems have become a creative endeavor for me.
Discovering the beauty of well-built infrastructure or a perfectly flowing experiential education event is as nourishing to me as it is to my clients. I'm a culture creating nerd to the max-- I really can't help myself.
And now, I help other transformative, creative, mindful, and event-based projects get out of the weeds-- so you can keep your eyes on the prize. I help strategize, design and implement operations and systems.
Have a quandary for me? Bring your operations and event strategy questions to me.
